Services

Specialised support for organisations developing clinical guidelines, synthesizing evidence, strengthening internal methodological capacity, and making evidence-informed healthcare decisions.

Support can be provided for a specific methodological need, a complete project, or an ongoing organisational programme. Our methodological support is organised across five core service areas:

01

Clinical Practice Guidelines

Methodological support across the guideline-development process, from scoping and clinical question formulation to evidence assessment, Evidence-to-Decision processes, and recommendation development. We work alongside guideline panels, evidence-review teams, and organisations to strengthen methodological rigour, transparency, and consistency, including in situations where evidence is limited or absent.

02

Evidence Synthesis

Methodological planning, supervision, and quality assurance for systematic reviews, scoping reviews, and related evidence-synthesis projects. We support review teams in designing appropriate methods, addressing methodological challenges, interpreting evidence, and producing transparent and reliable outputs. This service also includes methodological support for consensus documents and structured expert-judgement processes where appropriate.

03

Training & Education

Practical and tailored training in guideline methodology, evidence synthesis, GRADE, risk of bias, meta-analysis, literature searching, consensus methods, and related methodological areas. Training can be designed for clinicians, guideline panels, researchers, evidence-review teams, junior methodologists, and organisations, from short workshops to longer applied programmes.

04

Methodological Infrastructure & Organisational Capacity Building

Support for organisations seeking to establish or strengthen sustainable guideline and evidence-synthesis programmes. We help develop the methodological infrastructure, governance, processes, and internal capacity needed for sustainable high-quality work.

05

Independent Peer Review & Quality Assurance

Independent methodological review of clinical practice guidelines, evidence syntheses, consensus documents, and related methodological processes. We assess methodological rigour, transparency, consistency, and reporting, identify areas requiring improvement, and provide clear recommendations before publication or implementation.

Flexible engagement

Support for one challenge, one project, or an entire programme.

The structure of the engagement can be adapted to your organisation, internal expertise, timeline, and existing methodological processes.
